Kazia received a pair of hand knit Jaywalker socks from our friend Amy, aren't they adorable? The colors are just right for a newly 5 year old girl- hot pink and purple stripes! Thanks Amy! (Thanks to Amy's husband Chris too. He brought Kazia the ultimate play doh pack- 24 colors! It's so cool!)
I took advantage of the hot humid weather and dyed some yarn for my secret swap buddy. After soaking it in water and vinegar, I painted Wilton's icing dyes on the skein with a plastic spoon and then tightly wrapped it up in plastic wrap. I then set the wrapped skeins out in the sun and let it cook to set the colors.

Love the socks, and the yarn. And of course I have to ask how is Devo the heat. I was in the midwest recently and the east coast, UGH. Pippi hates the Ca heat and there is no humidity. Take care
Thanks for checking on Devo! He's great, he just runs outside to do his business and jumps against the door to let us know he wants back in the A.C.
Pippi does the ame thing. I can't blame them, I think about him a lot as he looks so much like her, even though she is an Australian Terrier and Poodle mix, they look so much alike, with her being a softer color. So cute and so sweet.
